I got to be with the three ladies I consider to be my three best friends, and we had the time of our lives.
I can't thank Chris and Kitty enough. You two made Jordan laugh so hard she was in tears, and she needed it. She'll be able to remember everything about the trip and smile for a while now. I think it'll help keep her going.
The gigglefits at night were interesting too. XD
And honestly you two, don't think I didn't see incest going on there. I suppose Kitty is my daughter-in-law, eh? P:
This trip was honestly so perfect. I can't tell anyone enough how perfect it was.
I'm gonna try to break this down for you guys... as best I can, by day. If I can remember it all. XD
Day one, Wednesday June 3rd:
Chris and I arrive at the airport and get run around in circles by the Disney people.
"You need a booklet!" "No.... you don't need a booklet." "They told us we need a booklet.
We take the Disney Magical Express to Fort Wilderness Campground, along the way the driver tells us about how he watches tourist shows and saw a lady get dragged into the water by a crocodile after she camped too close to the water. There was also something about a guy getting a mosquito bite and it planted an egg inside of him.
We get to the campground, check in ( quite easily, I may add. Passports, et voila, we have our room), and we take a shuttle to our cabin. Cabin #2807. We found that it was a damn short walk to get there too, so for the most part after this, we walked it. xD
We knew by the time we got out that Kitty had landed, so we didn't waste much time at the cabin and went back to the bus station to wait for her. Turns out, however, that her phone died, and the bus she was on stopped off at other resorts ( ours did, but didn't take long ) and she didn't end up getting there for... well... I think she got there at like, 4:30. It was close to when Jordan landed, if I remember right. We farted around at the station a bit while waiting for her. Chris has a video of the downpour of rain. XD We went to see if we had to check Kitty in, but we did not, since Chris and I checked in EVERYONE when we did it. So then we took Kitty to the cabin!
We settled a bit and talked with Kitty until I got a text from Jordan saying she had landed and was on the bus to Fort Wilderness. We took a moment to get ready, then headed over to the bus station again. Okay, so we took more than a moment, we waited a bit before leaving, since Jordan said it was gonna take her an hour to get there, according to her driver. We figured we had time, and walked over to the station and her bus pulled up right beside us.
There was much rejoicing, for our group was now complete. We took Jordan to the cabin and we all settled in before deciding where to go first.
We decided on Epcot.
Now, if you haven't been to Disneyworld before, I must say this. It's like a fucking city. It's just one big city all on it's own. You have to bus everywhere, to get to parks, to get to cabins... You can take a boat from Fort Wilderness to other resorts, or to the Magic Kingdom. It's just plain huge.
I also forgot to mention that while it was just Chris and I in the cabin, I opened the bathroom window and laid my eyes upon the ugliest stump ever seen by man.
The angry old man stump.
It quickly became associated with our toilet... which flushed in a quick and angry manner.
There was also a stump nearby that looked like a lizard of some sort. It did not frighten us as much.
I also found out on the walk to get Kitty that geckos come out of nowhere and scare the shit out of me. The bastards.
BACK ON TRACK.
So we get to Epcot, and Jordan immediately wants to do Test Track. This was one of the rides we really wanted to go on. Unfortunately, it was broken down. So we walked around a bit, and Jordan remembered a ride in the Norway region of the park that she wanted to try. It was basically like Pirates, but with Vikings. XD It was also much more tame, despite the fact that you go backward. It was fun though, for our first ride of the week.
We walked a bit more from here, around the different countries, and settled down to eat some Japanese food. Or it was Chinese, I can't remember. It was night by now too, and music caught our attention.
After eating, we walked over to the water to watch a small fireworks show, which Chris also has a video of. Though, I believe the video is mostly of the globe that floated about the water.
We walked a bit more after this, deciding that Canadialand was best saved for the daytime. And we wanted to go to the Magic Kingdom, so we got on the monorail to the transportation center, got on a ferry, and went across the water to the Kingdom.
Of course, the guy didn't tell us till after we got off that the Magic Kingdom closed at 10, and it was now after that. |: So from the Magic Kingdom, we took the boat to the Fort Wilderness resort and found out that we couldn't get any snack foods because the trading post was closed at 10 as well. So we hopped a bus and got back down to our cabin.
And this... is when the Jurassic Park started. XD
We watched the first one... and so started the "Hullo, John." "Hullo, John!" madness. XD
And thus ends day one!
Day two, Thursday June 4th:
I think we slept in this day. I think. We slept in a fair bit, really. XD However, this was the day I was in the bathroom and heard the "pew pew pew" birdies, plus the sudden "WAAAAAAAAH" of... well, we deemed it the marsh shark. >:3
We went back to Epcot. Found out that Test Track was still down, but we got Fast Passes for it. Wandered off around the countries again. Visited Canadialand and was quite displeased to find that there were no restaurants or food places that sold poutine. There was a store full of maple syrup and Canadian hockey jerseys though. XD We also watched a 360o video of places in Canada. It ended with... an interesting song about Canada as well. In all honesty, it was... almost embarrassing. XD
Hum hum hum.
We took the ferry across to the Magic Kingdom again. This time, however, it was definitely open. And... well, the clouds were open too.
We got downpoured on. Soaking wet. I think we were on the Buzz Lightyear ride when it all started, and we got into the store and it was thundering something fierce out there. Lightning and all that. We bought ponchos when the store workers were telling everyone to get the fuck out, threw them on, and ran out into the rain. Disneyworld looked deserted. Not one person was out in the rain but us. XD And we had a blast running through the massive puddles.
We ate at a restaurant across from the Pirates ride, and went across right after to ride it. ....now that I think about it though, this may have happened before the Buzz ride. Because I remember us being very wet when we ate, and Jordan's phone started to mess up. So perhaps it was before. We had dried up by the time the downpour with the ponchos started. xD
Disneyworld didn't seem to be made for downpours. I mean, there were puddles the size of rivers in some areas. XD I think it was from here that we got back on the ferry to go back to Epcot. We wandered a bit... I think. I just remember getting into the lineup for Test Track.
That was a pretty epic ride, yo. If you go, it's worth the wait. I definitely suggest going on it. XD
I think after this we went back to the cabin early. Went to the Magic Kingdom, then took the boats back to the campground and stopped at the trading post to get food before we went back to the cabin.
We made pizza and tossed in the second Jurassic Park movie. This was also another fun time... for we first heard Kitty's "Oh my goodness yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay." XD We made fun of her for it for the rest of the week. XD
And thus ends day two. XD
Day three, Friday June 5th:
Sleeping in again, yay!
Honestly, I can't remember everything we did.
We went to Hollywood Studios this day though.
Rockin' Rollercoaster. |: I was watching it go and was like 'Yeah, that's not bad. It goes down a hill' ... it didn't go down a hill. |: It shoots you up so fast that your eyes close and then you go into a damned loop.
This was the first coaster I truly screamed on. It scared me. XD It's very dark though too, so I could hardly tell we did the loop until I saw the light shine on the track.
*wibble*
Anywho. After this, we went and did Toy Story Midway Mania. And of course, I was winning till the end, then Jordan won by a few hundred points. *SOB*
We did the Backlot Studio tour, then hit up a close restaurant for lunch. Wandered about some more. Hit up a couple more rides.
I definitely wasn't feeling up to Tower of Terror after the Rockin' Rollercoaster, so Jordan and I sat it out while Chris and Kitty went on. They had a blast, what with the creepy guy at the gate and the little girl who told them they were going to be ooookay. XD
After this we went to Downtown Disney, we got there rather late, and we ate at Planet Hollywood for the first time. That was pretty cool. I think after this we went back to the cabin again. Yeah, we musta, it was like, 1am by the time we left Downtown Disney.
Day four, Saturday June 6th:
We went back to Downtown Disney this day... wandered about the World of Disney. Then we went and ate at the T-Rex restaurant. I think after this we went back to the cabin, then went back to Magic Kingdom...
Rode Pirates again, wandered, and sat down to watch the fireworks. Ended up sitting down early enough to catch the Spectromagic parade first. Fireworks were awesome, though I still enjoyed the Christmas ones in Cali more. Well timed and the fake snow was fun. XD
After this we rode back to the cabin and I believe we watched the third Jurassic Park movie. And started watching Hidalgo, though Viggo put me to sleep. XD
Day five, Sunday June 7th:
Our first day at Animal Kingdom. We went on the Kali River Rapids, which was epic. Rapid rides are my favourites, and this one had quite the drop. I actually thought we were going to fall out of the ride. XD
Then we went on a dinosaur ride. Holy shit. |: They did a good job scaring the crap out of us, especially right before the picture was taken. XD I was leaning into Jordan and Chris had the look of utmost fear on her face. XD Probably because she was getting chased by the carnotaur on her side.
We went on a safari afterward, caught a few glimpses of lions and giraffes and whatnot. Kitty was most pleased. XD After this we went to wait in line for Expedition Everest, but according to the wait time, we woulda been there for ages. Our schedule said Fantasmic was going to be playing Sunday night, though when we got to the Hollywood Studios, they told us it would be playing Monday, Tuesday and Saturday, or something. We wandered a bit, then went back to the cabin and went swimming. I was upset at the time, but it was quickly resolved. Nothing a hug and a kiss couldn't fix.
We started watching Tombstone afterward. D: Then turned it off to go to bed.
Day six, Monday June 8th:
This day started off with us finishing Tombstone. And then we went off to Animal Kingdom again. Sadly, wifey wasn't feeling great, so we went back to the cabin. Kitty and Chris picked up some ice cream and we ...watched a bit more of Hidalgo, then went to the buffet on the campground for dinner. Then we took the boat over to get to the Magic Kingdom to see Fantasmic.
It was awesome. This one actually had a Pocahontas scene in it, which was cool. I made the mistake of watching this one arrow too closely though, and it exploded and temporarily blinded me. D8 It was awesome though.
To wait out the massive crowds, we wandered around a few stores, picked up some candy, then went back to the cabin.
I think this was when we watched Half Light, actually. I'm still not sure. One of the other nights we were watching Kitty's silly movies. Aaaanyway. XD
Day seven, Tuesday June 9th:
Our last full day at Disneyworld.
We wandered off to the Magic Kingdom again. Rode the Haunted Mansion for a second time, wandered about some more trying to stay in the shade. Got a fast pass for Splash Mountain, then got in line for Thunder Mountain and rode it. We ended up going to eat at Planet Hollywood again, then went back to the cabin. We decided in the end not to go to Splash Mountain.
We got to watch some pretty epic heat lightning on the ride home, which seemed to take forever. We noticed after that the driver took a wrong turn. Srsly nao.
Once home we curled up and watched the Orphanage. I: Raaawr scary movies. And then we watched bolt. Totally freakin' adorable movie. D;
Last day, Wednesday June 10th:
We all made sure we were packed up, and we left our cabin. The place we had called home the whole week. And it felt like a home. It was perfect. The maid who made our towel animals wished us a pleasant flight as well. She was a nice lady. The card in our room said Sam, but I was so sure her nametag said Cindy. D:
We checked out, and got on the Disney Express. Chris and I were let off at Terminal B, though we shoulda been let off at Terminal A. Poor Kitty though, she was at gate 93. Chris and I were at 20, Jordan was at 16. We said a tearful goodbye to Kitty, and then waited for our flight at gate 20 with Jordan. There was another heartbreaking goodbye.
We slept for the most part on the flight. Considering the turbulence, I'm glad I was passed out.
And voila, we passed out around 11ish at Chris' place. And we'll be heading back out to Belleville soon, I figure.
I really hoped that the week would not end. I look forward to the day that the four of us can all live together in one house like that again. But forever. It'd be amazing.
I'm sure if you catch us, we'll be more than happy to talk about more of the trip.
And hopefully soon, Chris will have lots of pictures to share. I mean, she took nearly 500. Kitty took a bunch too.

Uhm... If you make your own costume, I'd look to other people's for tips and whatnot. This costume I bought on ebay. :3 It was great quality, and I loved wearing it!
