History/Description: Vaina remembers very little about his heritage, and it could be better that he doesn't learn of it. His species was brutally wiped out, and Vaina himself, a warrior in his time, was left for dead.

He was taken in by the child of a servant, who nurtured him back to health. And during this time, Vaina watched and learned the ways of servantry. He would help the mother around the house when possible, in his gratitude.

Vaina outlived both the servant mother, and her child, and found himself alone. Because he couldn't remember where he had come from, he went off in search of people, soon finding himself in a black market for all sorts of mystical and magical items. He found an older man who seemed to be having trouble carrying an item, and helped him with it. Unfortunately, this elderly man showed his gratitude in another way, and locked Vaina up in a small cage.

He was bought for a high price, but the moment the new owner opened the cage, Vaina escaped, fleeing the market.

He found himself at Arcadium after weeks of travelling and collapsed at the gates, where he was found by Samael.

Samael then nurtured him back to health, and Vaina recognized the act as the same the child had done for him before. He swore then that he'd help Samael until the end of his days, or until the end of his own, whichever came first.

Vaina stands a mere 5 inches tall for 22 hours of the day. For two hours, 6pm-8pm, usually, he shifts to a human-sized form that stands about 5'10".

He cannot speak in his smaller form, instead jingling like bells to speak. He can speak in his human-sized form, though is quiet soft spoken and hardly talks at all.

He helps Samael throughout most of the day. Taking notes for him for his classes, helping Samael's lack of direction in the hallways, and often helping to mark papers.

Vaina also has an affinity for shiny, or sparkly items. He often hoards them, and leaves the nicest ones as gifts for Samael ( like a cat would ). In the night, he sleeps in Sam's sock drawer. Or on the other's pillow. He's fiercely loyal toward Samael, as well, after so long in his care, and often throws things at anyone who speaks ill of his master.
